Writing Collaborative this Week!

Please be ready to share your writing this week!  It is critical that you have made some progress in both researching and writing your persuasive essays for this week's meeting.  It is fine (actually good) if your writing and research is in a very "rough" phase.  We will work together to fine tune your projects during our meeting.  We can't help you if you don't bring anything for us to work with though.  Please come prepared!

  1. I'm need to be honest ahead of time: I'm not prepared. All my focus these past weeks have gone to my film class.

  2. Honestly my paper is in a rough draft phase. I have all the ideas in my head but when it comes to writing it down in paper I don’t know what order to write everything in. Nor am I sure if I should type a rough draft or if I should just hand in my written rough draft instead.

    1. We will work with people where they are. I have some guidelines prepared- but let's use tonight to get people closer to where they need to be.

  4. Please come to class with whatever you have for your writing project. We will use our meeting time to work toward a more polished product. I have a worksheet to help guide you through the process but we will have a great deal of latitude in how we work through our challenges tonight. The most important piece is to show up willing to work! I will see you all tonight and we will get started. We will meet in the classroom and then move on from there.
